The obsession is odd to me too. Like you, I can’t name a Taylor Swift song, and don’t think I’ve ever listened to her music. I don’t understand why folks are making such a big deal. As a Conservative, I’m actually quite embarrassed by all the brouhaha. She doesn’t bother me, and she has the right to watch her boyfriend hopefully win his third Super Bowl.

Her views don't sway me, either. I barely am aware of her at all, so I find it odd that she has that much pull. But... that's the culture we live in, so I guess it's something to be mindful of.
