I’ve heard that, too. Donors are abandoning her, though, like the Koch brothers, so I wonder if the well will run dry. There are probably plenty of folks—Democrats, too—who would finance the longshot chance that she’ll be the one to take down Trump.
I hope she comes to her senses. I don’t know how much she’s being paid to stay in the race, but surely it’s not worth her entire career, if there is any of it left.
Good point! There is, of course, the possibility that Trump ends up locked up, and she may be sticking around for that. She’s already done a lot of damage with conservatives, but I suppose moderates and Democrats are pleased with her—and some independents. We shall see how it all shakes out!
