Yes I think there should be an age limit. I get Trump is in great shape but so was my dad at his age, but then dad had the strokes. When folks get up in age like that there’s more of a chance of having health issues that can disrupt time in office. I don’t understand why most politicians wait until they’re old to run for President? It seems that way anyway.

Some of these folks wait until they're old to be president because they ran a few times and kept losing! LOL! But others are busy creating a political resume, and by the time they do that, they're old. But then, I think about people who are in their forties, for example. You often hear people say, "He's/She's young. They have plenty of time to run." What would you say should be the cutoff age? Someone on YouTube recommended 65. He wrote, "The standard age for retirement in most industries is 65, why should different rules apply to politicians? There is already an outcry that younger people are not getting into politics, then reason is simple, the current crop is in power and will be there for possible decades (if not longer) so there is little interest. And as the US President is limited to two terms, why not the same for all?

Some have been there for so long they have lost touch with the reality of struggling to pay the bills given politicians massive salary and perks."

I think I agree with the commenter. He makes a good point. In most jobs people retire at 65 so why do politicians go on forever?? It seems odd to think about because we’re so accustomed to old farts running for President. LOL

LOL! I think the Founders never even considered that folks would get into politics and make a career of it.
