No, It Wasn't a Food Truck: Planned Parenthood Actually Brought Free Abortions & Vasectomies on Wheels to the Democratic National Convention
The Democratic National Convention (DNC) last week had a visitor: a Planned Parenthood truck offering free abortions and vasectomies. The organization decided this was a great time to do what it does—on the move. Maybe you thought it was a food trunk. That’s understandable; that’s what it resembled. It also looked a whole lot like a culture of death, rather than one of life. How low can we they go?
Planned Parenthood Great Rivers (PPGR) proudly tweeted the planned arrival of their “mobile health clinic” abortion on wheels:
This is the kind of thing we see outside the Democrats’ convention because Democrats are all-in for abortion and have made it their “ride or die.” Remember when they used to say, “Safe, legal, and rare”? That was bad enough, but that’s what happens when you tolerate a little evil. You know, the “give ‘em an inch” adage.
What we must embrace is a culture of life. We need to encourage those who are pregnant and feeling overwhelmed, scared, perhaps alone. People and organizations have always reached out and walked alongside these individuals. The answer is not to hold up the termination of innocent life as a remedy. Statistics and real-life stories reveal this only hurts the parents and kills the child. The only thing that prospers in these cases is the abortion industry, which benefits greatly from this tragedy.
The New York Post reported prior to the truck coming to town:
Planned Parenthood offered free vasectomies and medicinal abortions in an oversized van outside the Democratic National Convention on Monday, giving men the chance to get snipped in as little as 20 minutes – and grab a taco on their way out.
…
Planned Parenthood planned on doing “about” ten vasectomies on Monday and a total of 25 medicated abortions throughout Monday and Tuesday, Dr. Colleen McNicholas, the chief medical officer of Planned Parenthood in the region, told The Post outside the truck on Monday.
McNicholas said:
We knew that there were going to be lots of people coming to Chicago from outside of Illinois, and again we just wanted to highlight that Illinois is a great example of how if you center healthcare policy that is based in science and evidence and puts people before politics then we can really start meeting the needs of the folks in the state.
She was right about one thing: Many did go, and they allowed the abortion and vasectomy regime to “start really meeting their needs.” We know this because they—how shall we say?—sold out at the DNC. The link to “Reserve your spot” goes to a page that now says:
I realize there are some Democrats who couldn’t care less about what this says about us as a society, some Republicans as well—although we know that the scales are heavily tilted toward Dems championing this assault on human lives and decency. But I also know there are people on both sides of the political aisle who recognize this as the disgrace that it is, and they are saddened and ashamed that we are at this place. A truck, y’all?! 😳 God help us.
But do they also recognize that the Harris-Walz administration is all-in for this? They are even all-in for mutilating children who are confused about their identity and want their body parts chopped off. Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), the potential Vice President of the United States, is in favor of doing this without parental consent and has signed legislation that could “terminate parental custody” if parents oppose this oxymoronic “gender-affirming care” for their own children. We know there is nothing affirming about telling children that they are not who God created them to be—that they were born in the wrong body—and then messing them all up with puberty blockers, surgeries, and whatever else they’ve come up with. The current vice president, who wants to be president, is on board also.
This is what you want to vote for? We can do better, so let’s do better.
