Former President Donald Trump was shot at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in an apparent assassination attempt and has issued a statement. The bullet struck Trump in his upper right ear, but he is reportedly doing well. Sadly, one innocent attendee is dead, and two are in critical condition. The shooter was killed by Secret Service.
The shooting occurred just two days before the Republican National Convention, where Trump is expected to become the official 2024 Republican presidential nominee. The convention is scheduled to take place in Milwaukee from Monday, July 15, to Thursday, July 18.
