Trump Indictment Shams Taking Us from Republic to Banana Republic
The left once again showed the lengths they are willing to go to keep former President Donald Trump out of the White House. The indictment that the Fulton County, Georgia, court published online hours before the grand jury voted on it, deleted, denied, and then republished came down on Trump and 18 others late Monday night, basically for questioning the results of the 2020 election. It’s yet another sham to take down a political opponent. This is bigger than those individuals and those 41 charges, however. The actions playing out before us reveal the impending shift of America from a Republic and the greatest nation on the earth to a banana republic, where an elitist, corrupt group controls the citizenry.
The sham is ridiculously obvious. Clearly, Trump did not believe in the results of the election, and he had every reason to be suspicious. There were irregularities at best, and some would even say fraud at worst. A candidate no longer has the right to ask questions and seek answers? This is absurd. Democrats have been whining about election results for years, but when Trump thinks he’s been done dirty, he deserves to be locked up? And I literally mean locked up. All 19 defendants are on the line for the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. A conviction carries with it a minimum five-year sentence. Get this, RICO is typically reserved for members of the mob!

CBS News reported, “These charges carry a sentence of 5 to 20 years in prison or a fine of up to $25,000 or three times the amount gained by the violation — whichever is greater — or both prison and a fine.” Would they really put Trump in jail? Do you even have to ask? In fact, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, smugly announcing the charges, said, “The RICO charges has time that you have to serve."
How bogus are these charges? Take a look at a few, three of which involve Trump’s use of Twitter:
Act 22 states:
On or about the 3rd day of December 2020, DONALD JOHN TRUMP caused to be tweeted from the Twitter account @RealDonaldTrump, “Georgia hearings now on @OANN. Amazing!” This was an overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy.
According to Act 26:
On or about the 3rd day of December 2020, DONALD JOHN TRUMP caused to be tweeted from the Twitter account @RealDonaldTrump, “Wow! Blockbuster testimony taking place right now in Georgia. Ballot stuffing by Dems when Republicans were forced to leave the large counting room. Plenty more coming, but this alone leads to an easy win of the State!” This was an overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy.
Act 128 says:
On or about the 5th day of January 2021, DONALD JOHN TRUMP caused to be tweeted from the Twitter account @RealDonaldTrump, “The Vice President has the power to reject fraudulently chosen electors.” This was an overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy.
Act 40
On or about the 7th day of December 2020, DONALD JOHN TRUMP requested that Bill White, an individual associated with the Trump campaign then residing in Fulton County, Georgia, provide him with certain information, including contact information, for Majority Leader of the Georgia Senate Mike Dugan and Pro Tempore of the Georgia Senate Butch Miller. The following day, White sent an e-mail containing the requested information to RUDOLF WILLIAM LOUIS GUILIANI, unindicted co-conspirator Individual 5, whose identity is known to the Grand Jury, and others. This request was an overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy.
That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Again, there are 41 charges against 19 individuals. So Trump is indicted for telling someone something is on television and voicing that he’s enjoying it, calling it “amazing”; pointing out the voting irregularities and stating his opinion about a win; stating the power a vice president has; and asking for some folks’ phone numbers. This is what we have come to.

This is nothing more than a witch hunt and political persecution and prosecution. This is what a banana republic looks like. This is a dangerous road they’re taking us down, and if we don’t find a way to stop it, this is the start of much more of this and the end of what we know as free and fair elections in this country. This is despicable, and lest we forget, this is a lie. If questioning elections were illegal, think of the Democrats who would be indicted and convicted. Breitbart News's Wendell Husebø penned a piece entitled “Democrats Denied Election Results 150+ Times Before Trump Was Indicted for Challenging Election.” I mean, Georgia’s own Stacey Abrams is election denier-in-chief. And don’t get me started on Hillary Clinton. But Trump’s legitimate concerns about some fishy business going on in 2020, which we all know went on, could land him and some allies in the slammer. Unreal!
This is, without question, a two-tiered—embarrassing—system of justice, where positions of power are used as weapons to take out a political opponent who has every right to run for office. We don’t do that here in America—or at least we didn’t. These are scary times because no one seems to know how to stop the train that’s gathering speed. And a message to those who slither into my DMs with a laughter emoji about this sham: You won’t be laughing when we see where, but for the grace of God, this takes all of us. Furthermore, if your disdain for one man—Trump—brings out such un-American sentiments, such as rejoicing at the perversion of our justice and political systems, I suggest you plan a trip to Russia and hire Brittney Griner as your tour guide because you don’t deserve to be in America.
