Head-to-Head: Trump and Biden Secure Respective Parties' Nominations | Who Will Win?
Both former President Donald Trump and current President Joe Biden have secured their parties’ nominations for president, setting up a 2020 rematch.
This is the ideal scenario for Trump. First, Biden has helped run the country so far in the ground that everyone should want a hard U-turn. Beyond that, though, every competitor relishes the opportunity to face and then defeat the previous victory spoiler. Biden had some help with scoring that 2020 victory, but we won’t get into that now. We all know. Nonetheless, the only thing sweeter than victory is victory via defeating the one who defeated you most recently. And Trump has that chance now. Of course, he also has a plethora of legal battles, media opposition, and snakes in the grass to overcome, so we shall see how he fares.
