The National Day of Prayer is May 4, 2023. This observance began through a joint resolution of Congress and was signed by President Truman in 1952. In 1988, President Reagan made the first Thursday of May the day we would annually unify and pray for America. And here we are—still in need of God, still committed to prayer.
