Media outlets are covering various aspects of Tuesday night’s State of the Union (SOTU). For examples, they’re highlighting President Biden’s age; at 80, he’s the oldest person ever to deliver the State of the Union address. They’re talking about the length of his speech: 72 minutes of lies, some Republicans are calling it. They’re pointing out the white balloon Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene carried ahead of the SOTU, a reminder of the administration’s failure to shoot down the suspected spy balloon from China until after China saw whatever China wanted to see. They’re talking about Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders and what a good job this youngest governor in the country did in her response to Biden’s address. They’re covering these things and much more, so I’m going to leave those heavy hits to the press and the pundits and be petty enough to talk about THE KISS that’s being discussed all over social media. Did y’all see first lady Jill Biden and second gentleman Douglas Emhoff greet each other with a kiss not on the cheek, but on the lips?
