Businessman and presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has impressed some likely Republican voters, and the GOP presidential debate last Wednesday night scored him extra points, as I predicted and then later evaluated post-debate. However, those who are paying close attention are not quite as impressed upon learning how inauthentic he is and what a flip-flopper he also is, as the audio clip below demonstrates.
I’m on record as saying Ramaswamy reminds me of former President Barack Obama, a smooth operator, who seemingly says the right things that cause people to applaud. However, I do not trust Obama 2.0 any more than I trusted Version 1. Maybe I will at some point, but right now, I’m not there, and these soundbites of him changing his story like some change, well, you know, do not help his case with me.
The News & Why It Matters discussed Ramaswamy the day after the debate, and host Sara Gonzales pointed out that his campaign admitted to paying a Wikipedia editor to scrub some information that revealed things he did not want we the people to know: his Soros affiliation, coronavirus response involvement, vaccine and mask pushing, and who knows what else—all a fortnight prior to announcing his run for the presidency.
Furthermore, Gonzales shared some of his flip-flops about former President Donald Trump and January 6, as well as opinions about what was then the former president’s highly anticipated decision not to participate in the Republican debates. It’s hard not to get whiplash while listening.

Although this is disappointing, I believe if we look hard enough at any candidate, we could find some inconsistencies. The question now is which "snake" do we elect, hoping they don't turn around and bite us in the ass....
Something has seemed fishy with him since day one.
