Donald Trump's Mugshot Is Our Mugshots
Former President Donald Trump returned to Twitter after his arrest at the Fulton County Jail in Georgia on Thursday. He did so with the mugshot these corrupt witch hunters made him take, treating him like a common unidentifiable criminal. This is a sad time for Trump, yes, but it’s also a sad time for our country because this is not just about Trump and interfering in his election; it’s about the ruling class targeting and destroying the opposition—something that should be unthinkable in America. We should all be concerned.
While it’s Trump who faces 13 charges in this Georgia sham, we’re the target also. The former president spelled it out in June—ironically, in Georgia—at the Georgia Republican Party’s annual convention a day after special counsel Jack Smith indicted him on 37 charges related to allegedly holding on to classified documents from the White House. He said, “In the end, they're not coming after me. They're coming after you — and I'm just standing in their way.”
He’s right. Therefore, his mugshot is our mugshots. We have to right this ship. I believe we can because I don’t believe it’s over for this country, but it’s not going to come without a strategic fight—and lest I be accused of inciting an insurrection (sound familiar?), I’m not talking about violence.
