Donald Trump Is the Star Player the Losing Team Intentionally Injures

What we are seeing in this country as a former and possible future president is being intentionally targeted is disgusting. The weaponization of agencies we used to put our trust in has no place in the nation that the world has looked at as an example of freedom and used to personify free and fair elections should make every single one of us cringe. This hatred for Donald Trump and attempts to influence the 2024 election by knocking him out of the game is not just a Republican problem or a conservative problem. It is a you and me problem. It’s not going to stop with Trump. The ultra-partisan indictments against him remind me of an athletic contest in which the losing, inferior team schemes to take out its opponent’s star player through injury. We see it with dirty athletes who will stop at nothing to win or to retaliate for impending loss. What we’re seeing now with Trump is the same thing—in the bloodsport of dirty politics.
