Updated: Biden Declares Easter Sunday 'Transgender Day of Visibility,' Prohibits Children from Submitting 'Overtly Religious' Art to White House Easter Egg Event
President Joe Biden just did the equivalent of hoisting a fat middle finger to every American Christian and to the fabric of who we are as a Christian nation: he chose to release an official proclamation declaring Easter Sunday “Transgender Day of Visibility.” The second fat middle finger comes with the announcement that no religious-themed Easter egg designs are allowed at the White House art event.
*Update: After the backlash for issuing a proclamation that Transgender Day of Visibility would be on Easter, a holy day for Christians, the White House has commented that the date has been March 31 since its inception in 2009, and Easter just happens to fall on that date this year. That is duly noted, but as I see it, that does not excuse that proclamation for that day and the manner in which it was released. The White House has also pushed back on the criticism about the Easter Egg Roll. See “Continued from Update” at the end of this article for a more fitting, respectful way President Biden should have handled the transgender debacle and a comment about the egg event.
Most of us cannot figure out why this administration is fixated on people’s sex lives and grooming and sexualizing children. The whole thing is not only outrageous; it’s creepy. But now, Biden—or whoever is running the show in D.C.—have not only thrown their radical transgender love affair in our faces on Easter, but have stomped on our religious expressions on a religious holiday. These people are no longer hiding their anti-God agenda. Yet how many Christians still intend to vote for this man? If the fact that he is ruining this nation weren’t enough, he’s blatantly spitting in the faces of people of faith. Do not reward him with four more years.
His proclamation states in part:
On Transgender Day of Visibility, we honor the extraordinary courage and contributions of transgender Americans and reaffirm our Nation’s commitment to forming a more perfect Union — where all people are created equal and treated equally throughout their lives.
…
Transgender Americans are part of the fabric of our Nation. Whether serving their communities or in the military, raising families or running businesses, they help America thrive. They deserve, and are entitled to, the same rights and freedoms as every other American, including the most fundamental freedom to be their true selves. But extremists are proposing hundreds of hateful laws that target and terrify transgender kids and their families — silencing teachers; banning books; and even threatening parents, doctors, and nurses with prison for helping parents get care for their children.
…
Today, we send a message to all transgender Americans: You are loved. You are heard. You are understood. You belong. You are America, and my entire Administration and I have your back.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility. I call upon all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity.
Why Easter Sunday, of all days? We know why. Sorry to be too blunt, but that’s his administration’s “F-you” to people who hold the Christian faith dear and celebrate the resurrection of Christ. And with all the fake concern they have about children and their mental health, they are shunning those who would express their love for God in their artwork. “No Christian expression welcome here,” a sign above the White House might as well read.
As the New York Post reports:
Children of the National Guard are prohibited from submitting religious Easter egg designs for the 2024 “Celebrating National Guard Families” art event at the White House.
The art contest is part of the White House’s Easter traditions, which include the annual Easter Egg Roll.
The flyer for the contest states that an Easter egg design submission “must not include any questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes, or partisan political statements.”
As Easter is a religious holiday, I totally get refraining from “partisan political statements,” but no “religious symbols” or “overtly religious themes” makes no sense. The resurrection of Jesus is overtly religious or faith-filled or however one wants to describe it. That’s the point of it.
But again, these jokers are in your face with their agenda to remove God from the fabric of our society, to trans your kids, and to rob them of their innocence, hiding behind the deceptive language of “banning books,” “care for … children,” “extremists,” and the like.
Enough already. November cannot come soon enough. While no politician is the cure for what ails us, politicians have been a huge part of why we are where we are, and we the people play a role in the turn-around. The time is now.
Some will say, “Oh, you’re making too big a deal of this.” Look at the progression—the downward spiral, I should say. We’d all better wake up. They do not have your best interest or the best interest of your children in mind. They want your kids reading books with explicit sexual content. They want to pretend men and women don’t uniquely exist. They want to cut off your children’s body parts. They want to look the other way while citizens are being trafficked and children used for the depraved satisfaction of pedophiles, whom they now want to call “minor attracted persons.” They want to remove our borders to allow illegal immigrants to jeopardize our security, drug our families, and take our jobs. They want to keep us beholden to nations that want to wipe us off the planet while refusing to tap into our our domestic supplies of energy. They want to spit on our God and expressions of faith. They want to force-inject us with an experimental drug and then threaten to take our livelihoods if we don’t comply. They want to bastardize our speech to line up with their warped ideas of what reality is. They want to kill our babies in the womb right up until and even past the point of birth. And then they want us to vote for them on Election Day—against our own consciences. And the sad part is that the “want to” has already become what they actually do. They’ve lost their minds, but if we bow to these radicals, we, too, have lost ours.
I pray that God will give us direction as to how we can make a difference. Praying is one way. Voting is another way. We need strategic, Spirit-led action as well. God help us to know our part, to utilize the gifts, callings, and talents He has given us. We need His guidance, and we need boldness because this is not a time for cowards. The enemy is bold. We, too, must be bold in Christ.
Start by sharing this article. The radicals are sharing their message of lies. Who will help get the truth out and expose the darkness?

*Continued from Update: I admit that I, like most people, had no idea March 31 has been designated Transgender Day of Visibility for several years. That does not change my mind, however, that it should not have been on Easter. The president or someone advising him had to know that the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus is beloved and most Christians believe it deserves to stand alone and not get double duty with the transgender observance. Someone should have known that issuing the proclamation on Good Friday was in poor taste as well.
I’m not sure why anyone feels the day is necessary at all. Having it seems to suggest that transgender individuals aren’t already visible. Of course, they are. This administration, libraries, schools, fitness centers, parades, and more incessantly remind us, as if anyone wants to constantly think about people having body parts cut off or added on. It’s just not necessary.
Furthermore, what true leaders who care about people do is kindly encourage people to embrace who they really are, God’s creations, made in His image, just as He intended them, and they don’t need to alter that. Caring leaders then walk alongside them as they get the help they need. Instead, these so-called leaders are agreeing with the lie that these individuals are not good enough as they are, and then try to force the rest of us to go along with the whole farce. So I vote we get the day off the calendar and truly love people.
However, if continuing this observance is nonnegotiable, the president should have handled it better, and it’s simple. Transgender Day of Visibility is not a federal holiday, which, I believe, is why a proclamation is made each year. If it were a federal holiday, I don’t believe an order would be necessary. So in essence, there is no set day for the observance. The president, therefore, could have changed the date so that it did not fall on Easter/Resurrection Sunday, could he not? If I’m wrong, please correct me. He could have made that decision and then issued a statement about it—in a way that would show respect for God and Christians everywhere, as well as paid tribute to transgender individuals 🙄. It could have read, in part, something like this:
“Transgender Day of Visibility typically falls on March 31. This year, that date is the holy day of Easter, when American Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. To ensure that it receives the full attention it deserves and that our transgender citizens receive the full attention they deserve, Transgender Day of Visibility 2024 will be observed on Monday, April 1.”
And though I wouldn’t add this if I were president (of course, we wouldn’t even be discussing this if I were president), in light of Biden’s commitment to both the transgender community and, supposedly, his faith, he might have added, “May all Americans be united in the observance of each of these days as we celebrate and honor our faith and one another.” Boom. Done.
Now, would some people be annoyed that he moved the transgender date? Probably. But, again, he reinvents the “holiday” every year, so it is within his authority to make it whenever he chooses—or not at all. Perhaps he thought about it and chose to annoy Christians rather than transgenders. Wrong choice. In respect for the Christian faith, if a president has to decide whether to annoy Christians or transgenders, he should have chosen the latter. And perhaps everyone would have been happy and no one offended. 🤷🏽♀️ Either way, a president must make tough decisions, and it’s best to make the right ones. This would have been the right one.
So, no, I didn’t realize that the usual trans day just happened to fall on Easter this year. (Did anyone?) Knowing it now, I do feel my language—saying Biden was giving Christians “a fat middle finger,” a “second fat middle finger,” and an “F-you”—may have been too strong, so I semi-retract it. However, I do believe he displayed a disregard for Christians, which is what he’s wont to do, and I still don’t know that I believe that he (or whoever makes the decisions) didn’t realize he could do something better but simply chose not to. And I know I believe he should have.
I will address the issue concerning the egg event in another article of its own, so be on the lookout for that.
Really good article. I listened of course and I could hear the passion in your voice. End times for sure.
Great article, Adrienne. I’m disgusted by this administration and this ridiculous ‘declaration’. Yes, November can’t come soon enough! Let us pray…and vote!
